Excellent mold restoration company with very knowledgeable technicians. They found hidden mold behind the walls and got straight to work. The crew was respectful, punctual, and explained every step clearly which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Very recommended!

Our process

How a mold job runs

  1. 01

    Inspect & find the moisture

Removed paneling revealing widespread mold growth on sheathing inside a wall cavity

First we find whatever is keeping the area wet, checking behind walls and under floors with a moisture meter and thermal camera. Then we map how far the mold has spread before anything is disturbed.

  2. 02

    Contain

Poly sheeting containment doorway with red-taped zipper opening into a bathroom where an air scrubber runs

Poly barriers go up and negative air starts running before any moldy material is disturbed, so spores stay in the work zone, not the rest of the house.

  3. 03

    Remove & treat

Technician in white protective coveralls on a ladder treating exposed framing, red-taped containment door behind

Affected drywall, insulation, and framing come out, surfaces get HEPA-vacuumed, and what stays gets treated with an antimicrobial.

  4. 04

    Scrub the air

HEPA negative air machine with orange flex duct running into a poly-sealed doorway with red zip tape

HEPA air scrubbers run inside the containment for the whole job, pulling spores out of the air.

  5. 05

    Verify & rebuild

Basement wall framing and sheathing coated with white sealer after mold remediation

A final moisture check and visual pass confirm the space is clean, then drywall, flooring, and paint go back in.

The first 24 hours

What to do before we get there.

Here's what to do first, and what has to happen after that. If you're not sure the room is safe, stay out until we get there. Call us — we're here to help.

01

Stop the source

Find the main shut-off and close it. If water is near outlets, cut power to that area at the breaker, but don't stand in water to do it. If you can't reach either one safely, leave it and call us.

02

Get the water out the same day

Drywall wicks water up from the floor, and the pad under carpet holds it against the subfloor. When extraction starts the same day, less drywall gets cut out and the flooring often dries in place.

03

Dry before mold starts

Mold can start growing on wet materials in as little as 24 to 48 hours. That's why we set drying equipment on the first visit. We keep checking with moisture meters until the readings come back dry.

Insurance

We work with your insurance, and we bill them directly

  1. 01

    Call us

We answer, ask what happened, and get a crew moving. Same-day emergency response on active water.

  2. 02

    We document everything

We take moisture readings and photos and write up a scope of work before drying starts, so your adjuster has the file from day one.

  3. 03

    We bill your insurer directly

We work directly with your insurance company on covered water and mold claims, so you're not fronting the full cost and chasing reimbursement.

Your deductible is still yours to cover, and we'll tell you that number before any work starts rather than after. You also don't need a claim to hire us. Plenty of our jobs are paid directly by the homeowner, and after the free inspection we'll say which way makes more sense for the damage you have.

Common questions

Questions we get most.

There are more on the FAQ page.

How fast can you get here?

We dispatch the same day you call, six days a week, from our base in Totowa. Most of our service area is within about 45 minutes. Tell us what you see when you call — standing water, an active leak, a ceiling coming down — and we will tell you what to do until the crew arrives.

Do you bill my insurance company directly?

Yes. On covered water, mold, and fire claims we bill the carrier directly, so you are not fronting the cost and waiting for reimbursement. You pay your deductible and we settle the rest with the insurer, supported by the photos, moisture readings, and drying logs adjusters ask for. A claim is not required to hire us — many of our residential jobs are paid by the homeowner.

Why are you closed on Saturdays?

We are a Shabbat-observant business, so we close every Saturday. The rest of the week, Sunday through Friday, we answer and dispatch the same day. If water is spreading on a Saturday, shut off the main valve, cut power to the wet area at the breaker, and call us — we respond as soon as we reopen.

Is mold in my house dangerous?

Mold exposure can trigger allergy symptoms and breathing irritation, and people with asthma or weakened immune systems are more sensitive to it. That is reason to deal with it properly, not to panic. Remediation removes the growth and, just as important, fixes the moisture that fed it, so it does not return.

Is it safe to go back into the house after a fire?

Not until the fire department clears the structure. Even then, treat cleared as safe to walk through, not safe to live in: soot and smoke residue irritate lungs, and firefighting water may have soaked ceilings and floors. Limit trips to collecting essentials until the assessment is done, and wear a mask if you go in.

Can wet carpet and flooring be saved?

It depends on the water and the time. Carpet soaked by clean water for a short period can often be dried in place; the pad underneath usually cannot. Hardwood that has started cupping can sometimes be saved with controlled drying. Anything soaked by sewage comes out. We meter the flooring and tell you which of those cases you have before removing anything.
